The aim of the competition was to visit as many of the 25 road junctions
Clive had marked as possible and then total all the numbers on the various sign at each point
Various methods were employed some added the digits to make a total, some just took the
figure e.g. B5062 as five thousand and sixty two

Well done to the 19 people who came along, including 4 Shufflers. There were 25 controls on offer
in 2 hours so well done to Alan & Brian who were clear winners and back with 1 minute to spare
and also to Barbara who, although not an orienteer collected 19 controls in exactly 2 hours.
Ken & Chris also got 19 controls but were late back (losing 1 control a minute) which reflects in the scores.
I also worked out the points ! – leaving it to you to work out how to add up the numbers found on the
junctions and Cadi & Mike were clear winners with 76383.25 Ken was 2nd (57181.25)
and Jad & Geoff 3rd (51009.25)
